First blog lesson offered to homegroup members

Today is our first blog lesson, thanks to Alice !

After supper, some homegroup members stay behind and had a chance for preview on how to log in to blogger account, specifically to the homegroup blog which was recently created.

The first lesson involve signing into the blogger account by entering the username and password, how to put a new post, how to add photo or video.

We also had a chance to enter blog author's email address to allow convenient posting in the future.

Any queries, pls feel free to ask Alice for help !

Answered Prayer

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and encouragement with regards to my Bel-air increase in rental. Also, I thank you all for encouraging me to stay positive with regards to leading the Bel-air cell amidst additional job responsibilities and expected increase in business travels this year.

As I reflect what have been happening to me last few weeks, I agree with you that I have entered into a spiritual warfare. During my quiet time yesterday, God reminded me that I should not try to cope with all these situations/challenges, i.e. not to fight for victory as Jesus has already helped conquered and already gained victory. Instead, I should fight from victory. I need to continue to remind myself that that battle is not mine but the Lord’s (2Chron).

Well, I would like to tell you a piece of good news – my boss has just approved my request for increased rental! No questions asked (Amazing). God has answered our prayers so fast! Hallelujah!! Next, I look forward to a smooth start of the Bel-air HG and continue to trust that God will help me juggle my time in my work, HG and family!

Express Answered Prayer

I have attended my 1^st lunch-time prayer meeting today and I was richly blessed with Fellowship and Prayer Supports.

Of course, there were hot drink, coffee and cookies too.

I praise God for His speedy answer to our prayer that the Business Registration for my company has been approved. I just received this news just after 5pm today.

God is Great ! Amen

First Core Group Meeting 2008

The first core group meeting was held on Jan.16,2008 at Eng Hwee's place.

It was attended by Eng Hwee Ong, Audrey Lum, Sharon Sin, Alice Sy, Agnes Ho and Kit Chan and we warmly welcome Kit Chan to join as new core group member. Yehey !

The meeting started at 7:30 pm with opening prayer followed by yummy Thai dinner, sweet potato dessert as well as Haagen Dazs ice cream.



The following were discussed :
a) Possible topics for bible discussion
b) Grouping of members
c) Vantage@Belcher's homegroup blog
d) Bel-Air Homegroup support
e) Chinese New Year celebration - combined session with Bel-Air
f) Friday meeting schedule for the 1st quarter of 2008

Before the meeting adjourned at 10:30 pm, the group took time to pray for Agnes Ho who's in urgent need of prayer about the rental agreement with her Bel-Air flat and the new additional work responsibility in her company.
