Dinner with Wai Kuan's Family in North Point

Husband For Sale

A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE ! There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catcha you may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband...

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop-dead good looking and help with the housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"

Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are drop- dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 4,363,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.

Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. Watch your step as you exit the building, and have a nice day!

Please feel free to send this message to all men for a good laugh and to all the women who can handle the truth!

Remember Greed is one of the seven deadly sins. You have to learn to be grateful for what you have to get more. When you are ungrateful you end up with nothing.

I Had So Much Peace Within Me

Hi all many thanks for your synchronized prayers and my operation went thru vy smoothly. This is the first time i had so much peace within me as compared to my normal self who will sob or start getting worried days and weeks before operation date.

As i have told a few of you when i return from Singapore I had not been feeling good and each time when i get up from bed i wl have bad dizzy and what worried me was if i can't balance myself on the bed and should i fall and hit against any hard object i may have head concussion or become a........ arh...you all know, I went to consult my specialist thinking the lump could be affecting me but to my surprise my doctor the lump is not a cause for my dizzy. I was rather disturbed, so i decided to tell my abba father to package the whole thing so that when the lump is remove my dizzy will also be gone as what audrey prayed for me 'one stroke' and it will be gone. I do feel that it is improving after my operation and wl just have a positive attitude to allow God heals me totally in his time.

I have just been discharged and just want to spent some time writing to you all to update you of myself. My thanks to kitchan, gemma, audrey and alice for visiting me even though it was raining 'black/yellow' yesterday. They were indeed very supportive. My thanks also to those who wanted to come but could not make it because you all have been praying hard for me. To summarise, i thank this homegroup for the support in all ways. thank you

Well time to rest as doctor said my lump was quite big.

Don't have to worry about me i am well and don't have to make special trips to visit me as i think i can make it this friday.

To tell you all the truth, the only thoughts on my mind at the hospital bed was 'what can i offer you all this friday''' ha..ha... well, will share more when we meet.
